Hyundai Returns to Canadian Tire Motorsports Park Looking to Extend Championship Lead

After a short break in the IMSA Michelin Pilot Challenge (IMPC) schedule, Hyundai Motor America heads north to Canada for the only international event of the year at the Canadian Tire Motorsport Park (CTMP). In the 2022 IMPC race at CTMP, former Bryan Herta Autosport (BHA) co-pairing of Canadian natives Robert Wickens and Mark Wilkins captured victory around the 2.459-mile road course in their home country. Hyundai looks to continue that success and extend the IMPC Drivers’ Championship lead at CTMP as the two BHA entries of Mark Wilkins and Mason Filippi in the No. 98 Elantra N TCR and Robert Wickens and Harry Gottsacker in the No. 33 Elantra N TCR currently share the top position in the points standings.

The IMPC field will take the green flag for the Canadian Tire Motorsport Park two-hour event on Saturday, July 8, 2023 at 4 p.m. ET on Peacock.
