Kia America’s February 2024 sales report is out.
When looking at January-February year-to-date sales figures as percentages of growth, 2024 compared to 2023, the strongest increase was Kia’s Carnival, which increased 47.7% during the term, 4,122 units sold in 2023 compared to 6,087 units in 2024. The Carnival is a MPV minivan, which depending on trim has a sticker price of $33,200 to 46,300 USD$. The only engine available during these model-years is a 3.5L V6 GDI Lambda III engine with 290 horsepower and 262 lb.-ft. of torque and 3,500 lb. towing capacity. Fuel economy is 19 mpg in the city, 22 mpg on the highway.
The next strongest increase in January-February year-to-date sales figures as percentages of growth was the Sportage, which increased 17.9% during the term, 18,719 units sold in 2023 compared to 22,075 units in 2024.
