Hyundai Seeking Manufacturer Championship Lead at Lime Rock Park

Following an impressive weekend at the Canadian Tire Motorsport Park, Hyundai Motor America heads to Lime Rock Park in Connecticut this weekend with hopes of gaining the lead in the TCR Manufacturers’ Championship in a tight race between all four IMSA Michelin Pilot Challenge (IMPC) manufacturers. With a podium finish at Canadian Tire Motorsport Park, Bryan Herta Autosport’s (BHA) Robert Wickens and Harry Gottsacker, drivers of the No. 33 Hyundai Elantra N TCR, currently lead the Drivers’ Championship standings 20 points ahead of BHA teammates Mark Wilkins and Mason Filippi. As one of the shorter races on the IMPC schedule – only 100 minutes in length – Hyundai is focused on earning their second victory of the season at Lime Rock Park.

The Lime Rock Park 100 will see the green flag fly at 4:15 p.m. ET on Saturday, July 22nd.

  • Lime Rock Park: 1.5-mile, 7-turn natural terrain road course
