Having made its debut at the 2022 Los Angeles Auto Show the Genesis X Convertible “concept” is apparently heading into production.
As reported by Automotive News: Luc Donckerwolke, Genesis’ chief creative officer made the announcement regarding the X Convertible going into production while at an annual Genesis Dealer’s meeting. “When he said that at the dealer meeting — to say it in front of a couple of hundred Genesis dealers — that’s a pretty good sign,” said Peter Lanzavecchia, the chairman of the Genesis National Dealer Advisory Council and owner of Genesis of Cherry Hill in Marlton, New Jersey.

Donckerwolke reportedly also told dealers that the Genesis X Convertible would be priced in the $200,000 to $300,000 range, positioning it as Genesis’ new halo luxury car. Lanzavecchia added that there would also be a GT performance coupe variant.
