Genesis Slashes 2024 Electrified G80 Price by $5380

Up until recently the Prestige trim was the only variant offered for Genesis’ Electrified G80. Prestige is now the line’s top trim, receiving a 2024 model-year price reduction of $630, now starting at $80,320. Where other cars are typically seeing increases of $1,000 year over year, the Electrified G80’s price reduction is significant.

Currently the Electrified G80 is not eligible for the $7,500 tax credit, killed off by the Biden Administration’s Inflation Reduction Act.

Genesis will soon release the Electrified G80 Advanced trim. While specific details regarding standard equipment and additional costs are not yet available, it is anticipated that the vehicle will feature a 365-horsepower, dual-motor all-wheel-drive powertrain, similar to the Prestige model. The Environmental Protection Agency (EPA) estimates that the 2024 EV G80 will have a driving range of 282 miles on a full charge, which is the same as the previous year. The expanded lineup is expected to be available for sale in select states in the near future.
