The National Highway Traffic Safety Administration has announced that water may enter the starter solenoid, potentially causing an electrical short. The NHTSA hasn’t reported any injuries or deaths linked to the Hyundai vehicle issue. Vehicle owners are advised to park their cars outdoors until the recall repairs, which include a free remedy relay kit installation by dealers, are done. Notification letters will be sent to vehicle owners by April 13.
