Car Enthusiasts launch website promoting KDM car scene

“Our formula is simple,” states Eric Vasquez, founder of the Stung by Kia Facebook group and President of the entity debuting its new site, “we are going to create value and save both car enthusiasts and manufacturers money.”

The website is intended to meet so far unmet needs: one centralized location which aggregates discount codes, promotions and group buys on manufacturers’ aftermarket products, service provider offerings, and current sales being run by KDM oriented resellers.

“No one to date has developed a place which brings together manufacturers, service providers and resellers with KDM car enthusiasts in which they both benefit greatly and where the manufacturer’s messaging does not get pushed down under social media ‘clutter’” says Tom D’Angelo, one of the site’s developers. “Up until this point car owners would have to hunt around or hear word of mouth about an upcoming promotion. We search them out for everyone and then communicate the deals to our members.”

Site users are encouraged to become Registered Members by filling out a simple on-line questionnaire. “Becoming registered is free and it entitles the member to periodic emails summarizing promotions as well as exclusive offers and product giveaways not available to those who have not registered,” states Vasquez.

D’Angelo adds, “The site is not just a one trick-pony however; we also have a calendar for car events (car shows, cruises, cars and coffee) all around the world, curated news stories, original content, forums, a list of trusted and vetted providers, a photo gallery and more. We want to work with and support every KDM related Facebook and local car club. This site was built as a service to their members and to encourage the KDM community.”

So far Stungbykia.com has signed up: M&S America, Velossa Tech, NGI Performance, Beast Coast Motorsports, CK71Stinger, Infinity Motorsports Racing, LAP3, Tuscani Customs, K8StingerStore, K5OptimaStore, Variant Alloy Wheels, MyKey Premium and Zen-Rage exhausts as “Partners” on the site with more to be announced soon. Companies who run active promotions are referred to as “Featured Partners” receiving more prominent placement.

In closing D’Angelo offered, “We are excited to launch what has been a leap of faith so far. We’ve done our best to incentivize both car enthusiasts and manufacturers. Time will tell how successful the site is however so far the response has been amazingly encouraging which is humbling.”
