Last week at the 2023 Canadian International Autoshow, Autopian journalist Thomas Hundal sat down with Hyundai’s VP of N Brand Management and Motorsport.
At one point the N car executive, Till Wartenberg flipped the script and asked the journalist, “What would you pay for an N Vision 74 if it was produced?”
After some thought the Autopian journalist responded he thought something along the lines of what a Corvette Z06 sells for (which is about $105K USD), that is if you can find one selling for sticker.
The VP of N Brand Management and Motorsport responded positively, “My personal wish is to produce this vehicle. It’s at first probably an investment, but if we could see this vehicle really out there and people buying it, I would be very happy.”
A concern Kia Stinger owners have expressed regarding the EV6 GT “heir apparent” is they do not wish to hand the Hyundai Motor Group performance crown to – well – an SUV. Wartenberg assuages distress regarding this adding, “to just have a big SUV, to put a lot of performance into it and call it N, we’re very reluctant to do that.”
