The U.S. House of Representatives plans to vote on the “Preserving Choice in Vehicle Purchases Act” (H.R. 1435), which aims to protect consumer vehicle choice and prevent the government from favoring one technology over others for emission reduction goals.
The “Preserving Choice in Vehicle Purchases Act” aims to prevent the EPA from granting California a waiver that would ban the sale or use of new gasoline-powered vehicles in the state by 2035. This legislation is crucial in maintaining vehicle choices for consumers in multiple states that have adopted similar clean-car regulations.
The House Energy & Commerce Committee passed H.R. 1435 in July, and now we need your help to secure its passage on the House floor. Send a letter to your U.S. Representative urging support for the “Preserving Choice in Vehicle Purchases Act.”
