Pulse News Korea reports, “South Korean auto mogul Hyundai Motor Group is doubling down on the development of automotive operating system (OS) in a heated race among major global finished carmakers to develop automotive software triggered by electric vehicle leader Tesla and OS giant Google.”
“Hyundai Motor aims to complete the development of its second-generation OS for integrated management of electronic control units (ECUs) within the year to apply it to the new Genesis G90 model, the first Level 3 self-driving vehicle in Korea, due to be out in the second half of this year.”
