
Pulse News Korea website reports, “South Korea’s Hyundai Motor and Kia cars are pricier in U.S. than in Korea thanks to greater demand and stronger dollar.”
“A comparison report showed all 13 Hyundai Motor and Kia models available in Korea and the U.S. sell 10 to 54 percent higher in the U.S. based on the U.S. dollar exchange rate at 1,388 won. The models are Hyundai Motor’s Ioniq 5, Palisade and Santa Fe, Kia’s EV6, Sportage, K5, Sorento and Seltos, and Genesis’s G70, G80, G90, GV70 and GV80.”
