DESCRIPTION:Caffeine & Carburetors is a gathering of automotive enthusiasts. We meet at Zumbach’s Gourmet Coffee in New Canaan\, CT to enjoy our rides and share them with like-minded gear heads hiding in and around Connecticut and New York. Smaller\, informal gatherings occur every Sunday morning throughout the year with 4 larger events in the spring\, summer\, and fall. This is one of those larger events. \nWe have a tendency to lean toward sports cars\, with the occasional Model A or 1920′s Rolls Royce\, but our emphasis is on foreign sports cars. We enjoy all vehicles and there are no sponsorships or awards. \nDoug Zumbach began hosting these gatherings in 1995. These Sundays start around 8 am to gather and enjoy a cup of coffee followed by a leisurely drive through the countryside. \nCaffeine and Carburetors is a way to indulge the gear head in all of us. \nBeing a gathering and not a juried event\, there is no registration\, and events are free for all. \nThe event officially starts at 8:00 am\, but if you’re showing your car\, plan on getting there at the crack of dawn to get a good parking space.

DESCRIPTION:WE’RE BACK!!!! Very excited to announce that our new location will be at Moroso Performance Products\, Inc. 80 Carter Drive\, Guilford\, CT and we couldn’t have dreamt of a better spot.  It’s easy on and off I-95 at exit 59. We would like to thank the Moroso team for reaching out to us and generously offering their parking lot. We’ve spent the past month working out the logistics and we thank you for your patience.  We’ve incurred a few expenses that we have paid upfront and in order for us to be able to continue this year and into the future and we’ll have a donation bucket at the gate with a $2 minimum per car (you can always give us more).  There will be a food vendor selling coffee\, breakfast sandwiches\, water\, soda\, and muffins.  There will also be portable toilets.  You know the rules… \n✨No speeding to and from the event \n✨No engine revving \n✨No burnouts \nOur motto is “If it has wheels\, bring it!..and we like dogs too” and so do the folks at Moroso!  So be sure to leash your pup and pick up after them.  See you Sunday!
