Among other points regarding various makes and models, newly recommended cars include the Genesis G80, GV70; Hyundai Santa Fe and Santa Fe Hybrid, Kia Seltos, Sorento Hybrid, and Kia Soul.
Caution was offered regarding various EV models and their the battery packs, charging systems and drive motors, including on the Hyundai Kona Electric.
In the pick-up truck category the new-for-2022 Hyundai Santa Cruz earned a below-average reliability score.
No longer recommended models are the Hyundai Elantra and Kona.
